“Scraping” method is one of the TCM natural treatments based on the skin treatment theory of traditional Chinese medicine. Scrape the corresponding skin area with platelets made of horn or jade or cupping cups to quickly boost the flow of blood and “Qi” (life energy), so as to cure chronic diseases.
In the treatment process, a small horn or jade piece is usually used to scrape from the neck to the back and then to the abdomen, from the top to the bottom, and it is scraped from the inside to the outside for the chest part.
The scraping time for each area is 3-5 minutes, and the longest should not exceed 20 minutes.
In diseased areas of the body, red spots may appear when scratched. The depth of the spots varies with the condition. If the disease is relatively weak, only some very light spots will appear; if the disease is severe, many spots will be “scraped” and the color will be very dark. The red area after “scraping” looks quite scary, but it doesn’t actually do any damage to the skin. On the contrary: scraping can promote blood circulation and dredge blood retention, making the skin healthier and more beautiful.
During the treatment, make sure that the patient is warm and not blowing. After treatment, he/she should drink a cup of hot tea and refrain from taking a cold shower in the next 30 minutes.
According to traditional Chinese medicine, when the virus enters the human body through the hair, mouth and nose, it will block the blood vessels, causing that the Qi (life energy) and blood can not run evenly. The deeper the pathogen is, the stronger the internal blockage. Therefore, a treatment method that can remove pathogens from the body must be used. Choosing the scraping method, a sand scraper is used to scrape the skin along the meridians until many small petechiae appear under the skin and become rice-sized spots. This allows the pores to expand, and the pathogens can be carried out from the body through sweat to achieve the best therapeutic effect.
The scraping method can accelerate metabolism, promote self-repair process, stimulate digestion, and improve absorption and resistance.
It should also be noted that the scraping method should not be used on the chest and abdomen part of pregnant women, should not be used for patients with hematological diseases or too few platelets. The scraping method should also not be used for heart failure patients suffering from (congestive) heart failure, kidney failure, liver cirrhosis and ascites or systemic edema.
