In summer colds, there are two types: heat and damp heat:
- Cold 1 (heat)
Cause: Pathogenic heat infiltrates into the body.
Symptoms: Fever, sweating, nervousness, thirst, sore throat, runny nose, cough.
- Cold 2 (damp heat)
Cause: Pathogenic heat and moisture infiltrate into the body.
Symptoms: Drowsiness, fatigue, nausea, indigestion, fever and chills.
Our body lacks protein in summer. Fish, meat, eggs, milk and beans are helpful in replenishing protein and strengthening the immune system. It is recommended to eat more vegetables, such as bitter gourd, cucumber, and mung bean.
Recommendation: Mung Bean Tea
Ingredients: 50g mung beans, 5g green tea, 15g rock sugar
Wash the mung beans and mash them, add the green tea, rock sugar and water to boil for about 20 minutes, then add the mung beans to make into tea drink.
Effect: Prevent cold, cough, sore throat and high fever.
